On June 28th, The String Cheese Incident released their fifth studio album, One Step Closer. The album, produced by Malcolm Burn (Bob Dylan, Emmylou Harris, Neville Brothers, Daniel Lanois), was recorded at a friend's home in the hills of Colorado's Front Range. One Step Closer features several brand new songs, including “Sometimes a River”, “Drive” and “Give Me The Love”, as well as retooled versions of older songs such as “45th of November”, “One Step Closer” and “Swampy Waters.”

The first 50,000 pressings of One Step Closer include a limited edition bonus DVD featuring over 30 minutes of behind the scenes footage of the making of One Step Closer. The DVD is the most personal look at the band to date...
